Entrepreneur Vũ Văn Minh — General Director of Vina Giầy Vietnam JSC

Vũ Văn Minh is the General Director of Vina Giầy Vietnam Joint Stock Company and the eldest son of entrepreneur Vũ Chầm, Chairman and founder of the Vina Giầy Vietnam brand, one of Vietnam’s notable footwear brands with a history spanning several decades.

In addition to laying a solid foundation for the growth of the company, Vũ Chầm was known for devoting considerable time, effort and financial resources to activities of the Vũ–Võ family, helping preserve and promote the traditional Vietnamese value of “remembering the source when drinking water” over many years.

Notably, he donated family land for the construction of the Vũ–Võ Family Ancestral Hall in Ho Chi Minh City, demonstrating his steadfast devotion to honoring his ancestral roots.Following his family’s fine traditions, Vũ Văn Minh has not only established himself as a successful entrepreneur but has also become a prominent figure in the field of social engagement.

He is among the relatively few individuals to have stood for election to the People’s Council for three consecutive terms and was elected as a delegate to the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council at the age of just 32.This was a clear testament to the reputation, capabilities and high level of trust that city voters placed in a young entrepreneur who demonstrated both determination and a strong sense of responsibility toward the community.

Sharing his perspective, Vũ Văn Minh said that when an individual has achieved a certain level of success in business and social life, returning to one’s roots and remaining connected with and contributing to one’s family lineage is not merely a moral duty. It is also a way of preserving the foundational values that have shaped a person’s character and strength.

For successful entrepreneurs, participating in family-lineage activities provides an opportunity to spread a spirit of service and contribute their knowledge, management experience, resources and personal credibility to educational-promotion and social-welfare programs.

At the same time, it allows them to help build a family organization that is increasingly structured, transparent and sustainable. It is also a practical way to inspire younger generations of the family to strive for advancement and build their own careers while remaining mindful of their social responsibilities.

Image

For senior members of the family, family-lineage activities provide an important source of spiritual support—a place where the wisdom, moral values and life experience accumulated over a lifetime can come together. The presence and advisory role of elder generations not only help preserve family traditions and values, but also contribute to shaping the family’s guiding principles and maintaining a balance between tradition and innovation as the Vũ–Võ family continues to develop.

Image

In recent years, entrepreneur Vũ Văn Minh has developed an increasingly profound understanding of the significance of activities organized by the Vũ–Võ Family Council of Vietnam. He has regularly attended major family events in both southern and northern Vietnam, demonstrating his sense of connection and responsibility, as well as his desire to make a long-term contribution to the family’s common development.

Image

From these reflections, he affirmed that building a strong family lineage is itself a contribution to building a sustainable society, because every family and every lineage is an important component of the nation.

The participation and cooperation of entrepreneurs, intellectuals and senior citizens in family-lineage activities can create a combined source of strength, ensuring the continuity and wider dissemination of the positive values of the Vũ–Võ family in the new era.
